1. Hotwire Conversion Information
The transition to Hotwire (Fission) will result in changes to the communication circuits and equipment installed in your home. In the first phase, you will be contacted by Hotwire for an appointment and required to select a location in your home where you want fiber cable to be installed. This location will be where the new Optical Network Terminal (ONT) and a new lead mesh router will be situated. There must be an electrical outlet available. Furthermore, a telephone outlet should be available if you are going to purchase telephone service. In the coming months you will be contacted by Hotwire for a convenient appointment date for the fiber installation. The cutover from Summit Broadband to Hotwire (Fision) Communications will become effective February 1, 2025 although some residents may have the new service prior to this date. We're excited to announce that your community has selected us as your new provider for in-home internet, entertainment, and communication services. I'm Chuck Stauffer, Regional General Manager, committed to delivering an exceptional, concierge-level customer experience. We'll be commencing construction in the first week of April, which is slated to continue until February 2025. While you may not see construction activities directly in your neighborhood, rest assured that progress is underway. We'll be working across over 90 sub-associations in a carefully planned five-phased approach. This means that although the physical presence of construction might not be immediately visible, we're actively working to build your community's new dedicated network infrastructure. At this moment, there is nothing that you need to do. During this appointment, you'll meet with a Hotwire Representative to set up your personal account, select your desired services, and ask any questions you may have.
- In-home service installations: Our experienced technicians will handle the custom installation of all the Fision services you've requested, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Fision Educators: You'll have the opportunity for personalized guidance on all Fision products and features through one-on-one appointments in your home. We also offer community-wide training sessions for a comprehensive learning experience.
- Account Managers: Throughout the life of your contract, you'll have a dedicated manager for continuous communication and support, ensuring any concerns are promptly addressed.
- Communication Tools: Stay informed with our community-specific website on gethotwired.com or the Fision Mobile app, which will showcase your Fision installation timeline and provide a direct link to your account manager for any queries. After installation, the site becomes your hub for account management including billing, channel lineups, and 24/7 customer support access.
